With 2018 in full swing, it’s time to start thinking about what the trends of the year are and how they can help to revolutionize the future. At IICorp, we’re diving into bioscience development and all the possibilities it holds for Iowa.
Take a look at these two Iowa ag tech start-ups to watch in 2018:
Performance Livestock Analytics is based in Osage, Iowa. This start-up company aims to help livestock producers become more sustainable and profitable. To do this, they have developed two applications, the performance Beef app and the Cattle Krush app. These applications combine cloud-based technology with on-farm information, which helps to bring big data solutions to the livestock industry.
Located in Ames, Iowa, Smart Ag’s goal is to enable perfect operation of farm equipment. To achieve this, Smart Ag wants to give farmers the technology to operate smarter through their four components: SmartHP, SmartNX, AutoCart, and AAVI Autonomous Farming. So far, the company has raised $475,000 in funding.
